Short bio
I preach and teach enterprise architecture, standardization, openization, governance, digital leadership, strategic planning, communities of practice and much more. Most recently, Government 2.0 is high on my agenda.
I’m an independent consultant and bootstrapper. Located in Copenhagen, Denmark, my primary target customers are Danish organisations, but I also work internationally, and will travel to whereever work brings me, or work online with you on approapriate assignments.
I’m a partner and co-founder of EA Fellows.
I am the President of the Association of Enterprise Architects.
I’m also hold two non-tenured associate professorships, at Copenhagen Business School and at the IT-University of Copenhagen. I teach and supervise masters theses.
Past
Until I went bootstrapping in late 2005, I was chief consultant in the Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation’s IT and Telecom Agency, where I worked from 2001. Prior to that, from 1997-2001, I was head of section at the Swedish Agency for Public Management in Stockholm.
Education and Research
I hold a Ph.D. (techn.) from 1997, and a M.Sc. (Engineering) from 1993. Both from the Technical University of Denmark, with guest studies in England and Japan.
