Short bio
I preach and teach enterprise architecture, standardization, openization, governance, digital leadership, strategic planning, communities of practice and much more. Located in Copenhagen, Denmark, I split my time between several jobs:
I am a program manager at the IT-University of Copenhagen. I am business owner of the Executive Master in IT Leadership and Management.
I am CEO and co-founder of EA Fellows, which is my platform for commercial services, such as our EA-certification.
I am the Chief Editor of the Journal of Enterprise Architecture. I was President of the Association of Enterprise Architects from 2006-2010.
I am also a non-tenured associate professor at Copenhagen Business School.
Past
Until I went bootstrapping in late 2005, I was chief consultant in the Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation‘s IT and Telecom Agency, where I worked from 2001. Prior to that, from 1997-2001, I was head of section at the Swedish Agency for Public Management in Stockholm.
Education and Research
I hold a Ph.D. (techn.) from 1997, and a M.Sc. (Engineering) from 1993. Both from the Technical University of Denmark, with guest studies in England and Japan.
